Bob Larsen, CFF®, TEP
Founder & CEO

Bob’s illustrious career spans over 45 years in the life insurance industry. Beginning as an agent for New York Life, Bob diligently worked his way up to become the #1 General Manager in the nation. His qu est for professional achievement motivated him to become an industry trainer, a former radio talk show host, and a co-author on articles for the Journal of Taxation.

Bob is a member and speaker of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is a registered Certified Financial Fiduciary (CFF). As a nationally licensed life settlement Broker, Bob discovered a valuable need for higher compliance standards and created a comprehensive process recognized by Lloyd’s of London as the most compliant within the settlement industry.

As a visionary with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Bob founded two successful companies: the Rushmore Private Client Group (in 1981) and Settlement Masters, LLC (in 2008). As a result of his years of experience in working with high-net worth clients and collaborating with top-rated attorneys and CPAs, Bob’s knowledge of estate planning and tax liability strategies along with his effective techniques and skilled communication methods created the desire to share his valuable expertise with industry leaders. Because of his strong belief in continually pursuing his own personal and professional growth, this ideology propelled Bob to establish the uniquely distinctive membership program, Value-Based Revenue Coaching (VBRC), to help others reach their full potential.

Gary Schulte has been a leading figure in the life insurance industry for more than four decades. His early career includes noteworthy accomplishments as a top financial advisor, leading sales manager, chief marketing officer, and life insurance company president – nearly 4 decades.

In 1992, Gary wrote his first best-selling book, which chronicled his years at the helm of a top ten life insurance company. Insiders view his book as the industry's first true innovator and disruptor. During these seminal years of the financial services industry, he built lifelong relationships with many of the greatest producers and legends of the life insurance business.

After three more books on financial services, and multiple appearances on TV and radio, including as the featured guest on the Larry King Show, Gary formed his one-man consulting firm, Distribution Solutions. During these years, he expanded his reputation as an advisor and mentor to the next generation of leading financial advisors.

In 2018 Gary decided to spend the balance of his career pursuing a lifelong goal. He joined the all-star faculty of Value Based Revenue Coaching. This unique group of industry leaders shares his passion for coaching high potential advisors to increase revenue dramatically.

Their only requirements are a reputation for integrity, a past pattern of success, and a burning desire to reach the top 1% of the industry in practice revenues.

Daryl Hable
Executive VP & Director of Operations

Daryl joined Settlement Masters in 2012 as the Director of Operations in charge of the company’s analytic planning and professional team communication. 

Prior to joining us, Daryl invested nearly thirty years in the banking and insurance industries, where his positions varied from analytic planning to industry communications.

Daryl’s primary focus at Settlement Masters is analyzing and communicating advanced insurance-based concepts with our strategic partners. He also conducts the appropriate technical research tailored for each client presentation and manages the preparation of individualized presentations for Mr. Larsen’s meetings.

Daryl and his wife, Kiersty, split their time between residences in Irvine, California and Park City, Utah.
